Infinity Festival Hollywood (IF) is an annual, multi-day event that celebrates “STORY ENABLED BY TECHNOLOGY.” Since 2018, Infinity Festival has grown to become the premiere, and only event that unites the talent behind Hollywood storytelling with the power of Silicon Valley technology. IF hosts keynotes, panels, presentations, showcases, demonstrations and screenings of exclusive content being created by and for the latest tech. Infinity Festival features the latest in: AI, XR, OTT, Film, TV, Audio, Animation, Music, 5G, Gaming and more with the leading talent from each of these industries.
Taking place at Goya Studios and the Dream Hotel in Hollywood, as well as online, featured speakers included filmmakers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (“Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,” “The Lego Movie,” “21 Jump Street” franchise), Ted Schilowitz (Futurist, Paramount Pictures), Vicki Dobbs Beck (Executive in Charge, ILMxLAB at Lucasfilm), entertainer Howie Mandel (joint presentation in interactive content with Magic Screen), TikTok stars justmaiko and Dytto, and more.
In-person attendees were also invited to attend the exclusive ART+TECH reception on the Goya Backlot and ended with a private showing of the Original Immersive Van Gogh Exhibition at the nearby Lighthouse Los Angeles venue.
The robust virtual portion of IF remains online (https://infinityfestival2021.fnvirtual.app) and the content is still garnering new viewers today.
Infinity Festival takes the health and safety of all its staff, exhibitors and attendees very seriously. Proof of vaccination upon registration/check was required when entering the festival campus and face coverings were mandatory for all indoor activities. Attendees were asked to follow event rules and local guidance with respect to social distancing (where able). Friendly security team members ensured everyone was in compliance at all times and a safe and healthy event was had by all.
